Top Achievers Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The TOPACHIEVERS Leadership Program is designed for young students in middle and high school, focusing on underprivileged, multicultural, and diverse populations. Selected individuals participate in community events, social action, service projects and understand the essential elements within their local community. Participation in the program provides a framework for understanding the importance of exceptional personal leadership and individual formation.

The program includes leadership integrity, ethical behavior, social awareness, and the impact of values and sense of responsibility on personal leadership. Students learn the importance of communicating, listening well, self-management and resolving differences constructively. They also learn to evaluate consequences of their actions as a leader. Sessions are structured to allow each student to present brief news or relevant topic overview, followed by engaging the group in thought-provoking Q&A sessions with interaction from all students. The program is in partnership with middle and high schools within Collin County.

The objective of Top Achievers is to develop a class of inspired student leaders prepared to succeed in college and beyond. Students will understand leadership skills, implement these shills in their lives, and act socially conscious. Candidates for the program are solicited from school counselors, Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) teachers, and community-based organizations.

Our unique student leadership program includes science, technology, engineering, arts, e-Sports, and math, in addition to athletic participation. Our organization offers leadership for boys and girls from Middle School through High School.

Since 2006 over 86% of our students have attended college, 90% of those attended a 4-year college, and 90% have graduated college. We are committed to assessing, exposing, and directing the talents of the students in our programs. Many TOPACHIEVERS alumni have become professional athletes, business, church, and civic leaders- and credit their TOPACHIEVERS experience as instrumental on their journey. Our alumni include leadership positions in major companies and civic organizations in the community: Plano City Council, Doctors, Accountants, Corporate Managers, Orthodontics, Executive Assistant at Fox, PepsiCo, Merrill Lynch, Buyer at JC Penney, Deputy Publisher of the Texas Lawbook, Plano ISD, and Toyota.
