Timberview Farmstead believes every child needs good soil to grow.

It is a belief we live daily. Last year, nearly 12,000 students from across North Texas visited Timberview Farmstead, located in southeast Fort Worth, for hands-on, curriculum-connected field trips. For many of these children, it was their first time seeing a real greenhouse or meeting farm animals like sheep, donkeys, cows, and turkeys. At Timberview, we don’t just talk about life science and nature - we bring those lessons to life through immersive experiences guided by expert educators. A visit to Timberview is more than just a field trip. It is a journey toward a more deeply rooted life, where all who visit can learn, grow, and belong. Our ADA-compliant barns make these experiences accessible to students of all abilities, helping us expand opportunities and connections for everyone.

One of our core goals is to keep educational programs affordable and accessible. While it costs $40 per student to run each field trip, we charge only $10, ensuring children from all backgrounds can participate. Our team of educators, farmers, philanthropists, and social entrepreneurs invite you to invest in the future leaders of Fort Worth through your generous support.

Equity Statement

Timberview Farmstead Equity Statement

At Timberview Farmstead, we believe that every person is worthy of dignity, belonging, and opportunity. Our farm is more than a place of learning and cultivation—it is a community where all people are invited to grow, flourish, and contribute their unique gifts.

We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where individuals of every race, ethnicity, culture, faith, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and ability are respected and valued. We recognize that systemic barriers have limited access to resources, education, and healthy living for many, and we seek to dismantle those barriers by fostering inclusion, representation, and shared leadership.

Through farm-based learning, hands-on education, and community engagement, we strive to:

Honor the diverse stories and traditions of the people we serve.

Provide equitable access to programs, spaces, and opportunities.

Cultivate an environment of listening, learning, and continual growth.

Partner with families, educators, and community leaders to build a healthier, more just, and flourishing future for all.

Equity is not a destination but a practice—one that requires humility, accountability, and hope. At Timberview Farmstead, we are committed to tending both the soil and the soul in ways that ensure everyone can take root, grow strong, and thrive together.
