A Generation in Need - and a Place That Meets It
Today's youth face paralyzing pressure from the busyness of life and their demanding schedules.
Campers face constant pressures from school, activities, relationships, and technology, leaving little room to simply be kids and experience wonder, joy, and faith. National studies found that children spend an average of just 4–7 minutes outside each day, while local research reports that only 23% of Texas students get at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily.
At the same time, camp gives them a place to play, to just be children of God. A week at The Pines is a reminder of what they were made for: to live life joyfully in their Father’s house in communion with their brothers and sisters. In order for us to provide a safe and freeing environment for our campers, we need your support, our community who believes in the mission of The Pines.
The Pines Calls Youth to the Summit
That is 4,100 lives that will step away from the busyness and pressure of the world to spend time outside, experience play and joy, and rediscover the freedom of simply being a child.
As camp continues to expand and we strive to bring young people to Christ, we need your help in bringing The Pines to new heights.
Create a Summit Moment
In a world that asks kids to grow up too fast, The Pines gives them something different, a place to simply be kids to laugh, play and grow.
And in that freedom, something deeper begins to happen.
Stepping away to step higher: Campers leave behind technology, busy schedules, and outside pressures, entering a Christ-centered community that allows them to be fully present and open to growth.
Encountering Christ in daily life: Through prayer and the sacraments woven into each day, campers experience moments where faith becomes personal—guided by priests and sisters who live alongside them and witness to the joy of their vocations.
Growing in confidence and independence: A week at camp challenges campers to take new steps—building friendships, trying new things, and growing into who they are with greater confidence.
Experiencing joy that lifts them up: From the zipline to Messy Warz, camp is filled with moments of fun that open the door to something greater—moments that stay with them long after they leave.
Where Your Gift Makes a Difference
Help us raise $175,000 to shape the next generation of joyful, faith-filled leaders.
Because when the pressure fades and joy takes its place, campers become open to something more. They begin to encounter Christ—not in a forced way, but in the middle of real friendships, real conversations, and real moments. Every part of camp exists to create these moments:
-
Religious, Musicians & Speakers: Summit moments of encounter, where campers experience Christ through the sacraments, in Adoration, and through worship and witness that move the heart and invite them to something greater.
-
Pool, Lake & Ropes Maintenance: Summit moments of joy and courage—where campers laugh freely, take new risks, and discover they are capable of more.
-
Day Camp programing: Joy-filled days of faith and friendship, where campers encounter Christ through prayer, play, community, and the beauty of creation in a setting conducive for a variety of campers.
Your gift doesn’t just support camp—it helps create the moment that changes everything.

Give Today. Bring the Pines to the Heights.
Every camper at The Pines encounters the Gospel through the rhythms of daily life—but that encounter begins by stepping away. This means stepping away from the noise, the pressure, and the constant distractions of the world.

In that space, campers are free to be kids: to laugh, to build real friendships, and to experience a community centered on Christ. And in those moments, something deeper begins to happen. Faith takes root, confidence grows, and children begin to see who they are called to be.They are guided by priests and religious sisters, formed through powerful witness from musicians and speakers, and led by well-trained counselors who walk with them through every challenge and every victory—from the waterfront to the ropes course and beyond.
Every gift helps create more of these moments for the next generation of campers.
Help us raise $175,000 by September 17 to make Summer 2027 our most impactful yet.
Will you join us on our journey to the heights?
