$12,000 Goal

On Thursday, September 18, 2025 we’re joining thousands of nonprofits for North Texas Giving Day — the largest community-wide giving event in the nation!

At The Happy Pet Project, we’re on a mission to end the overpopulation of animals in North Texas. As a foster-based, all-breed rescue, we work every day to save the lives of homeless animals, support community members in need, and keep pets in their homes — all while educating people on the powerful, positive impact they can make.

This year, our goal is to raise $12,000 to help expand our rescue efforts, provide medical care and supplies, and continue building lasting relationships between people and pets in our communities.

Whether you give early or on September 18, your support makes a real impact. Together, we can change the lives of homeless pets — forever.

Let’s make lives better and communities stronger, one Happy Pet at a time.

Mission

The mission of The Happy Pet Project is to partner with local municipal shelters to end the overpopulation of companion animals in Texas through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption, while educating people about responsible pet ownership, animal advocacy, and topics related to animal welfare.

ALL of us can make a difference in some way!

The vision of The Happy Pet Project is a world without homeless animals where animal welfare organizations can work with one another and with community pet owners to increase the health, happiness, and fulfillment of pets, their owners, and animal welfare workers and volunteers.

Needs

The animals of our community need every one of us to give the time, energy, and dollars that we can.

If you can spare a space in your home to foster, please be the difference for a living animal in need.

If you can spare a few hours a week to help with administrative tasks, please volunteer with us!

If you can afford a donation, please, donate today.

Together, we can make a difference.
