Our evidence-based curriculum provides accountability and resources based on the individual's needs and goals. While Members are enrolled at The Gatehouse, they are loved and guided through the Program by a team of experts and live on our 61-acre, privately funded and debt-free campus.
We are not a shelter or short-term solution but serve those who have the attitude and ability to work for permanent change. We fill that gap in our community between short-term services and permanent self-sustainability.
The Gatehouse gives a hand up to goal-oriented women who are working to overcome hardships by equipping them to create a foundation for permanent self-sustainability.
The goal is for every Gatehouse Program graduate to be able to pay all of their living expenses on their own without outside or government assistance and have the skills to maintain lifelong self-sustainability.
Today, The Gatehouse offers two tracks to help women at different stages in their path to self-sustainability: The Career Track for career-oriented women and The Education Track for single student moms.
$50 – Provides a meal for a Gatehouse family
$100- Help with gas and groceries for a Gatehouse mom
$250- Help a single mom get books and school supplies
$1,000 – Fully stock an apartment for new families moving in
$2.,500- Help cover a month of childcare for a mom and her children
