Founded in 2020, THE BIG GOOD is a registered 501(c)(3) organization combining two North Texas community leaders— Grammy Award-winning recording artist Leon Bridges and legendary football coach Gary Patterson.
Through annual events and community engagement efforts, THE BIG GOOD supports local organizations that share in our mission and are focused on addressing the developing needs in our community.
Since its inception only 3 years ago , THE BIG GOOD has granted over $2.5 million to its community partners, focused on initiatives that support educational and workforce development within the Fort Worth community.

Mission
To raise charitable donations through various annual events and campaigns that directly benefit our partners. THE BIG GOOD is committed to being good stewards of our donations to make the greatest community impact. We strive to build lasting relationships with the donors and partners who support us.
Needs
THE BIG GOOD is excited to announce a limited-time fundraising match opportunity, where every donation will be doubled by the Rainwater Foundation. This means that the impact of each gift will be amplified, benefitting the advancement of programs focused on adolescent literacy development, access to secondary education and homeless workforce eligibility right here in our community.
