Located in Southlake, The Novus Academy is a K–12 nonprofit school serving students who learn differently. We provide a creative, supportive, and inspiring environment where students build the academic, executive functioning, social-emotional, and life skills they need to thrive.
Students come to Novus when they are struggling to find success in a traditional school environment. Our students may have learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia, autism, or other challenges that impact the way they learn. At Novus, students are not defined by their challenges. We recognize each student’s unique strengths, needs, and gifts and create an individualized path for success.
Our small student-to-teacher ratio, specialized educators, and individualized curriculum allow us to truly know each student and provide the support they need. As students progress through middle and high school, they build independence and apply their skills in meaningful, real-world ways.
Novus helps students prepare for life beyond high school by exploring post-secondary education, employment, and independence through individualized transition planning and support.
