Imagine a community of Christ followers built not on buildings, paid staff or Sunday morning gatherings but on exploring the gifts and passions of those in our community, and then empowering our fellow co-laborers to be the people of God that He is leading us to be.

Over the past several years we have seen God begin to bring together intertwining visions between us and others in Irving, to reach our city in a radical and non-traditional way. We can’t do it alone but with the help of people from all walks of life and partnerships with organizations and businesses like Mission Alive, All Things Made New, Joe's Coffee Shop, Get Ur Shine On and others we believe God has begun putting the bricks into place to build a kingdom eco-system within the city of Irving.

A group of friends that focus on building relationships with people where they’re at... people that many times are ignored. Homeless individuals and families, people that struggle with mental health issues or in addictions of all types, those society places labels on like LBGTQ or simply those who have felt hurt or unwelcome in traditional churches. We think these folks are so different than we are only to find they’re just like us… people who need hope and help in their lives. People that need to know there’s more to life than living or dying. Going out, into the neighborhoods, apartments, streets and alleyways, helping those that need it most, that is the vision behind The Table- Irving

Giving Activity

Mission

“The Table- Irving is simply a group of friends working together to build a community within a community that will permeate the neighborhoods of Irving helping everyone we touch see the goodness of God.”

Needs

Financially, we're currently looking for partners in our ongoing work through our community centers. Your monthly gifts of $100 or $200 for 24 months will allow us to pay the bills and do the work that will change lives and our city.

Our work crosses into several areas of need in our community and our needs do as well. We are always looking for nonprofit organizations to collaborate with as we work to get more resources in the hands of the marginalized families and individuals of Irving. We partner with organizations like Irving Cares for our Food Pantry, Baylor, Scott and White for our Community Wellness Events and Youth 180 for their mental health and substance abuse treatment counseling. If your organization, business or group would like to provide services thru one of our community centers, just let us know.

Equity Statement

The Table- Irving desires to treat everyone fairly and make everyone feel welcome, no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation, or abilities. Our goal is to create environments where everyone feels valued and included, regardless of their background or identity. We're committed to being open minded and supportive to people who may have been marginalized and oppressed in the past, not just in our city or country, but around the world.
