The Kylie White Softball Dream Foundation

I created this non-profit in honor of my daughter Kylie White. My daughter started playing softball at age 2 1/2 and played up until she was too weak due to chemotherapy. My daughter at age 15 a month before her 16th birthday 3 days after Christmas found out she had a teratoma and ovarian cancer. Luckily they caught the ovarian cancer early and she no treatment for it. She continued routine visits to make sure it would not return. Sadly during one of her visits we were told they needed to speak to us. She developed malignant germ cell tumor cancer that was in her lungs, stomach, kidneys, and liver. It was I believe stage 4. Kylie was never scared at all and was determined to beat it. She was supposed to do 10 rounds of bleomycin but only made it to 3-4 due to her breathing getting bad. The doctors thought she developed pneumonia but no she developed pulmonary fibrosis which is usually caused by this chemotherapy. Kylie ended up in the hospital June 28, 2025 and beat death 3 times but sadly lost the 4th time the pulmonary fibrosis caused by the chemo stiffened her lungs and she passed away July 22, 2025. Kylie lived and breathed softball, it was her passion. She wanted to go to school and play college ball and eventually travel and coach college ball. Kylie played in All State tournaments and even tournaments prepping the USA. I decided to create this non-profit as a way to honor her and her dream but through others girls with the same dreams to play college ball and reach their educational goals. We will be hosting an adult tournament and a select girls tournament and all proceeds will go towards a scholarship to one lucky girl. We will have many girls submit applications and videos to be chosen by us. We also have a fundraising site and merch store and again all proceeds go to the scholarship and organization. I want to help others dreams come true and away Kylie's as well. We will host adult tournament August 22, 2026 and the select girls will be on September 26-27, 2026.
