The HBCU Project is an awareness organization that provides exposure and programming to assist families in attaining their educational and financial goals. This is a women-led organization with a unique perspective as HBCU graduates.

The HBCU Project is designed to take a holistic approach to support families in reaching their educational and financial goals.

WHAT WE DO

  • Provide broad exposure to more than 20 private and public HBCUs through in-person and virtual awareness events annually
  • Support the application and admissions process by providing opportunities for students to meet one on one with admission counselors
  • Partner with for profit organizations to lessen the financial burden of attending college
  • Assist the entire family with resources to attain livable wage jobs

Mission

Ensure every student has an opportunity to succeed by exposing them to the educational excellence of our HBCUs. We define success by creating pathways to financial wealth for traditionally underserved families.
