Plant Seeds of Promise with The Giving Garden at Jacob’s Reward Farm

At The Giving Garden, we believe a garden can change everything.

Not just by filling empty plates, but by feeding the deeper hungers—for connection, for belonging, for hope. Through our faith-based nonprofit organization, The Giving Garden, we grow fresh, nourishing food and nurture a community where everyone is welcome.

We invite you to join us. As a donor or volunteer at The Giving Garden, your support will put real food into the hands of families who need it—and cultivate a place where relationships and lives can flourish.

Our Garden, Your Impact

  • Container Garden: 2,000 square feet of sustainable, low-maintenance growing spaces, perfect for gardeners of all abilities—expanding every season.

  • In-Ground Garden: A newly prepared 640-sf garden area ready for okra, beans, herbs, flowers, and more.

  • Caterpillar Tunnel: 700 square feet of protected space to help us grow premium crops like tomatoes and peppers, even in the harshest Texas heat.

Every plant is grown in soil enriched by our own farm animals and homemade compost—making every harvest a celebration of stewardship and care.

Pasture-Raised Poultry - Clean Protein for Those in Need

  • We provide 300 farm-raised frozen broilers to area food pantries per year, all raised on our chemical-free pasture.
  • We provide hundreds of dozens of fresh-from-the-pasture eggs from our happy laying flock to those in need.

Growing Young Farmers

Our custom internship programs, designed to get passionate young people set up right to start farm businesses with environmental integrity, also power our ability to fill grocery baskets.

Impacting Soil Building and Carbon Sequestration

It turns out, growing food without chemicals and in line with natural systems also helps us replace degraded soil and pull carbon out of our atmosphere. We're excited to be part of the solution.

We can’t do it without you.

We're at a Crossroads

To increase our impact in the local food crisis, we need to scale our chicken program, increase our capacity to power our infrastructure, and continue to raise up leaders from our pool of dedicated volunteers. In this way, we can grow deeper into the community, sharing our ethos and culture to our hurting neighbors.

Join with The Giving Garden today. Together, we’ll plant seeds of a prosperous future for all.
