Thank you for visiting our fundraising page and supporting Texas All Creatures Rescue. We are proudly marking our fourth anniversary as a foster-based 501(c)(3) rescue rooted in North Central Texas.
Over the past five years, we’ve grown from a handful of dedicated individuals responding to profound community need into a trusted refuge for animals in crisis. With overcrowded shelters, persistently low spay/neuter rates, and surging owner surrenders, the situation remains urgent.
The Dire Reality in Texas and NationwidE
The Need Is Great. Together, We Can Save More Lives.
Texas continues to face one of the greatest animal welfare challenges in the country. According to 2025 data from Best Friends Animal Society, Texas remains the No. 1 state in the nation for the number of healthy and treatable dogs and cats that still need to be saved. While progress is being made, only 77% of pets entering Texas shelters were saved in 2025, and approximately **78,800 additional dogs and cats still needed to be saved for Texas to reach no-kill statewide.
Across the country, an estimated 5.8 million dogs and cats entered shelters and rescues in 2025. Approximately 4.2 million were adopted, while 597,000 were euthanized.
These numbers represent progress, but they also represent an urgent and continuing need. Behind every statistic is an individual animal, frightened, abandoned, injured, neglected or simply out of time, waiting for someone to give them a chance.
At Texas All Creatures Rescue, we work to be that chance. Through rescue, recovery, veterinary care, foster homes and adoption, we help animals who might otherwise be forgotten.

The Cost of Saving Lives
Here’s a breakdown of how your generosity helps one animal at a time:
| $40 | will pay to vaccinate one adult dog against Parvo/Distemper and Kennel Cough |
| $45 | will pay to have one dog microchipped |
| $55 | will pay to have one dog heartworm tested and one month of heartworm prevention |
| $150 | will pay to have a small dog spayed/neutered |
| $500-$1100 | will pay for life-saving heartworm treatment for a dog |
| $700-$2200 | will pay for Orthopedic surgery on an injured dog |

THE NEED IS GREATER THAN EVER
The number of animals needing help continues to outpace available resources. Overcrowded shelters, abandoned pets, urgent medical cases, and families struggling to care for their animals have created an extraordinary need across North Texas.
As a foster-based rescue, every life we save depends on available foster homes and the financial resources to provide veterinary care, food, supplies, transportation, and rehabilitation.
Your support allows us to respond when an animal has nowhere else to turn, from emergency medical cases and shelter animals facing euthanasia to mothers with newborn puppies and abandoned animals simply needing a second chance.
Every donation gives us the ability to say “yes” to the next animal who needs us.
Our first phase of expansion will be to install 6-8ft fencing around the property. We currently waiting for a quote on price.

In addition to fosters, we are looking to recruit a talented person to be our social media coordinator as well as a grant writer.
Our approach to diversity is simple – it’s about embracing everyone from any background and coming together to work towards a common goal of doing what is right for the pet. All Creatures - Two legs or four.
