Teachers LEAD is a non-profit organization missioned to support teachers, school leaders, and higher ed faculty through coaching and mentoring. Our support includes recognition through personalized interactions and tokens of appreciation, academic coaching, professional development, and curriculum writing.
We are located in Dallas, Texas. Most of our work is virtual and we work with schools in various states including Texas, Maryland, California, Florida, Virginia, and New York. Teachers LEAD was founded in 2019 and we are actively recruiting board members.
Teachers LEAD offers coaching and mentoring support to teachers to increase retention and model supportive trusting relationships. We believe teachers need on going, coaching and personalized support in various aspects of life to optimize their efficiency and performance so all students are positively impacted.
We need funding for daily operations. Currently we work as volunteers which limits our time, access and resources to fully support out cause. We need funding that allows us to fully support and celebrate teachers. Support varies based on the timeline of the school year. We strive to fill gaps that allow teachers to focus on student achievement through appropriate coaching and mentoring.
