TCEF

A nonprofit organization

Tarrant County Education Foundation (TCEF) awards merit and need-based scholarships in Tarrant County. We advance our scholarship mission through the arts to engage, inspire, and empower youth.

We believe students will have better school outcomes when rich, relevant, and meaningful arts and creative experiences are integrated into their core education. The Giant Water Bottle Sculpture project is a STEM-focused, hands-on art & education project with a sustainability focus.

The objective is to construct a work of art that tangibly demonstrates the impact of recycling, or “Artcycling.” Students from FWISD and Crowley will create a giant sculpture out of 20,000 16.9 oz. water bottles. The project will raise environmental awareness, inspire innovation and creativity, and provide opportunities for students to learn about careers, college, and scholarships.
