Tackle Tomorrow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2014 by five-time NFL Super Bowl Champion, Charles Haley and Dallas Civic Leader, Bob Bowie to improve early childhood literacy rates for students in underserved communities throughout Dallas, TX. Our mission is to improve early childhood literacy rates for students in underserved communities. We accomplish this through the use of dedicated educational programming, community engagement, and family support services. Our vision is to improve the long-term quality of the communities we serve by replacing cycles of poverty with hope, advancement, and prosperity. Tackle Tomorrow has made a profound impact on the education of over 3,000 students since its founding, inspiring and motivating the next generation to become life-long learners.

Focused on Title 1 schools with the lowest student success rates, Tackle Tomorrow implements it’s programming by equipping each participating school with devoted reading coaches, computer labs, and Istation, an AI based reading program that teaches students reading comprehension, letter assimilation, spelling, word analysis, and sentence structure, etc.
Tackle Tomorrow is expanding to more schools across Dallas and is in need of funding to support the expansion to continue to impact youth struggling to read on their current grade levels. Specifically, we will need to hire a reading coach, purchase Istation subscriptions, establish a school store and purchase goods for the store to reward our students, and more!
