TBHC Foster Care and Adoption has proudly served families since 1910. Headquarters is stationed in Waxahachie, Texas but we provide foster care for children in multiple areas of Texas; currently working with families in the DFW area, the Permian Basin, and East Texas. These areas are known as Permian Concho (Region 9), 3E Metro East and 3W Metro West (Region 3), Tyler (Region 4), and Lufkin (Region 5).
TBHC is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) and OCOK as a Child Placing Agency. We provide both basic and therapeutic foster care and adoption. Children in foster care have predominately been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. The initial goal for our children is reunification with their biological families or kinship placement, when possible. Unfortunately, reunification is not always successful and parental rights are removed. In this case, TBHC works with families to adopt children out of foster care.
TBHC also loves working with families through our Private Infant Adoptions department.
