Social Venture Partners Dallas

Our Mission

Social Venture Partners Dallas catalyzes professionals, changemakers, and donors committed to building nonprofit capacity that advances social impact in underserved North Texas communities.

What We Do

Partners deliver three to six months of pro bono consulting to highly scoped and vetted nonprofit Advisees. SVP Dallas provides the infrastructure for Partners to share expertise, creativity, and skills — building lasting capacity in organizations serving underserved North Texas communities.

Launched in 2023 the SVP Dallas Nonprofit Impact Institute (NPII) was established with two goals:

  • To empower our SVP Dallas Partners’ ability to serve the North Texas nonprofit community by enhancing their capacity-building skills, enabling them to become more effective nonprofit board members and volunteers; and
  • To provide a comprehensive range of educational resources for nonprofit board members and nonprofit leaders, including:
    • Standards for ethics, accountability, and operational excellence
    • Education on best practices in nonprofit management
    • Self-assessment tools

NPII materials were developed in collaboration with the Standards for Excellence Institute® and are shared with program participants via Workshops, a Toolkit Series, and Self-Assessment Tools.

The Brown Family Philanthropy Fellowship helps young professionals become leaders in venture philanthropy. The cohort of 2026-2027 will be the eleventh cohort.

The bigBANG! Social Impact Conference is an immersive experience with two days of powerful speakers, gripping breakout sessions, and inspiring company focused on driving solutions and equitable outcomes in Dallas and across the State.
