Sudie PTA Lion Pride 2025

Lion Pride is Sudie PTA's annual fundraising campaign & the largest contributor to our 25/26 operating budget. Sudie serves 4th through 8th grade students as a Dallas Independent School District (DISD) Talented & Gifted Academy.

Support Lion Pride! Lion Pride is an easy way for every Sudie family, friend, or other community member to contribute towards enriching programs and activities for the 25/26 school year.  North Texas Giving Day is September 18th but early giving begins August 28th and all giving through this site counts towards meeting our goal.

Donate TODAY! Click the "Donate" button above to give directly online. We will also be accepting cash or checks in person at the school.  We are tracking participation by grade level so if you can list the names of your student(s) when you make your donation it would really help us out!  

We are SUDIE, we are ONE! Together, we can reach our Lion Pride goals of raising $75,000 and having 100% participation by every Sudie family at an amount that is personally significant to them. ANY donation of any amount helps!

COIN WARS are back! This friendly House competition is on for a third year—let’s see if we can beat the $3,000 raised in 2023 and $1,500 raised in 2024! Coin Wars will begin Monday, September 8. Which House will win this year?

Why give to Lion Pride through North Texas Giving Day? North Texas Giving Day is an online giving event designed to empower people to give back to their community by supporting local causes they care about in an easy-to-use platform. Thanks to help from its generous givers and sponsors, North Texas Giving Day and its partners cover all transaction and technology fees related to this campaign. This means that 100% of every online gift made during the North Texas Giving Day season (August 28 through September 18) goes directly to benefit Sudie!

Does it matter when I give? Our site is live and ready to accept donations now. However, in order to maximize the total dollars received by the Sudie PTA, the best time to give is during the North Texas Giving Day season (August 28 through September 18) when North Texas Giving Day and its partners cover fees related to the campaign. Please note that the North Texas Giving Day site will automatically add a default percentage fee to your donation, but you may alter that percentage to any amount you feel appropriate, including 0%. Don’t let fees stop you from donating!  

As a public school, isn't Sudie TAG funded through tax dollars?  Yes, but the reality is that there are many special activities and programs for students and teachers that enrich the overall educational experience at Sudie that require additional funding. This is where donations to Sudie PTA come in to support impactful initiatives like the ones listed above.

Is there a suggested donation level? For Sudie PTA to provide the desired supplemental enrichment programming and opportunities at Sudie TAG for the 25/26 school year, we need to raise approximately $150 per student. Of course, that is merely a guideline, and ANY donation of any amount helps get to our goal.
