St. Mark Catholic School has set the standard for private education in Collin County for 40 years, serving students in preschool through 8th grade. Committed to academic excellence, emotional intelligence, and rooted in faith, St. Mark teaches the whole child: mind, body, and spirit.
The school has received the U.S. Department of Education "National Blue Ribbon Award" twice. St. Mark was recently named one of the top three schools in the nation for technology integration by Today's Catholic Teacher magazine. The faculty has been honored by the diocese for their excellence in teaching. St. Mark is home to three diocesan "Teachers of the Year."Â
As home to the SmartLab and the Lion Learning Lab, St. Mark students benefit from fully integrated, customized facilities where they explore multiple disciplines through hands-on activities, applied technology, and project-based learning. Experiences include robotics, graphic design, building and construction, music, biomedical applications, animation, engineering, circuitry, mechanics, and more.
Daily religious instruction and weekly church services reinforce virtues, values, and encourage children to build on their faith. Special emphasis is placed on community service.
Our Needs
At St. Mark, every effort is made to keep tuition at a reasonable rate, allowing more families to provide a Catholic education for their children. Each year, there is a gap between the tuition amount charged to each family, and the actual costs incurred by the school to educate each child. In 2022-23, that difference is $1,250 per student. It is through fundraising efforts and the generosity of donors that this additional cost is met. The purpose of the St. Mark Catholic School Gap Fund is to provide donors with a way to help bridge this gap.
