For more than 90 years, St. Cecilia Catholic School has been a place where children are known, loved, and encouraged to become the people God created them to be.

Since 1935, generations of families have chosen St. Cecilia because they believe in the lasting value of Catholic education. Inside our classrooms, dedicated teachers bring learning to life. Students discover their gifts, grow in faith, and learn what it means to serve as Jesus did. Our graduates carry those lessons with them into high school, college, their careers, and their own families.

There is a great deal of history within our walls, but the St. Cecilia story is still being written.

Investing in What Comes Next

We want every part of our campus to reflect the warmth, faith, and sense of belonging that families experience at St. Cecilia.

That commitment is already visible. Thanks to the generosity of a donor, a new canopy is taking shape at our front entrance, creating a warmer and more welcoming arrival for students, families, and visitors.

Although the canopy is separate from our North Texas Giving Day campaign, it shows what becomes possible when people believe in St. Cecilia and invest in its future. It is one more step toward ensuring that every part of our campus reflects the faith, care, and sense of belonging found within our school.

A welcoming and well-cared-for campus strengthens the sense of pride and belonging our current families experience while helping new families discover St. Cecilia. It allows today’s students to learn, gather, and grow in spaces that reflect how deeply they are valued.

The St. Cecilia Class Challenge

This North Texas Giving Day, every class from Pre-K3 through eighth grade is working toward a $3,000 goal. Together, our eleven classes are reaching for a schoolwide goal of $33,000.

Each class has its own page and story, giving families, grandparents, alumni, parishioners, and friends a personal way to participate. While classes will follow their individual progress, every gift joins one shared effort to strengthen St. Cecilia.

Where Your Gift Will Make an Impact

Funds raised through the St. Cecilia Class Challenge will advance a campuswide ceiling tile refresh and colorful walkway enhancements around our outdoor classroom and grotto.

The outdoor classroom is used for class lessons and Gardening Club activities, giving students opportunities to explore, create, and care for God’s creation beyond the traditional classroom.

Our grotto is a sacred part of campus where students and the school community gather in prayer, including praying the Rosary together. Enhancing the walkways around these spaces will create an even more welcoming connection between learning, faith, and community.

A portion of the funds will also support teacher resources that directly benefit the students they serve.

Each project has a different purpose, but they share one goal: creating a campus that reflects the faith, creativity, pride, and care experienced at St. Cecilia each day.
