St. Timothy Christian Academy just completed its 18th year and is stronger than ever! The school exists because of a dream that our founder, Dr. Paul Warren, had for students with learning differences. He envisioned a school where every child could learn, regardless of their learning differences, and be valued for exactly who God created them to be. Learning differences include ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration, anxiety and mood disorders, as well as many others. These differences affect each child differently and are often detected when a student is struggling in a traditional academic setting. We are committed to bringing academic success to students who have faced failures in the classroom because we celebrate our students' differences.

Please read what one of our parents shared about the STCA experience: "St. Timothy Christian Academy has been an important part of our family’s life. Our daughter’s learning differences were not only impacting her school life but also her home and social life. She needed a loving and caring environment where her educational and personal needs could be met. STCA offers an environment with Christian values where students feel welcome, have their individual education needs met; they are valued by the teachers and staff, and they gain a sense of accomplishment. This was evident in our daughter’s experience. Her self-confidence blossomed; she had wonderful friendships and she often randomly said, 'I love St. Timothy; it is the best school.' What more could you ask for?"

Mission

St. Timothy Christian Academy exists to support families and educate students with learning differences in grades K-12 in a redemptive Christian environment, helping them realize their full potential as a child of God.

Needs

This year, STCA will be using funds raised through North Texas Giving Day to support the following:

- New and stronger curriculum (at a cost of approximately $20,000)

- STCA Tuition Assistance fund

STCA recently earned Foundational Accreditation through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). As part of that process, we are focusing with purpose on our curriculum. We are strengthening our curriculum alignment from grade-to-grade; we are also making sure that our curriculum aligns directly with the mission of our school. Further, STCA has been seeing increased enrollment numbers for the past few year. This has created a very good dilemma: we need to order MORE curriculum to serve all of our students!!

Once we have addressed our curriculum needs, we will be placing the balance of our NTGD funds into our Tuition Assistance fund. The tuition assistance is used to support families who might otherwise be unable to have their children attend our school.

Equity Statement

St. Timothy Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities made available to the students at the school. STCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the admission of its educational policies, admissions policies, tuition assistance, athletic and other school-administered programs.
