About Us

For more than 80 years, St. Philip's School & Community Center has been a cornerstone of opportunity in South Dallas and the greater Dallas metroplex, empowering children, strengthening families, and building a more vibrant community. What began as a small neighborhood school has grown into a nationally recognized institution, earning National Blue Ribbon distinction while serving students from Pre-K3 through 8th Grade. Today, 92% of our students read at or above grade level, 88% meet or exceed mathematics benchmarks, and 96% of our alumni earn a college degree within four years.

Beyond the classroom, St. Philip's positively impacts more than 8,000 children, families, seniors, and neighbors each year through educational, social, and community services—including a customer-choice food pantry serving more than 150 individuals each week. Together with our partners, we cultivate bright minds, expand economic opportunity, and strengthen our community for generations to come.
