“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” -Matthew 6:21
Faithful giving is not just about money—it is also about relationship. Relationship with God, because our faith compels us to give in joyful response to God’s presence in our lives. Relationship with each other, because our life as a community of faith requires a little bit from each one of us. And relationship with the community, because we know the needs of the world and know we can help meet some of them together.
We believe God asks us to give of our time, talents, and treasure as we are able, and we value all three equally! If giving is done through faith, the kingdom of God will be served no matter what form the gift takes.
Make a Difference: Support St. Barnabas on North Texas Giving Day on September 18. OUR 2025 GOAL: $15,000.
North Texas Giving Day is an annual 18-hour online giving event that empowers individuals to support local nonprofits and causes they care about.
Why Participate in North Texas Giving Day? North Texas Giving Day is a community-wide initiative designed to mobilize both donors and nonprofits to create a lasting impact in our region. It's a simple yet powerful concept: on a single day, people from all walks of life come together to give generously to the organizations that make a difference in their communities. As a proud member of the North Texas Giving Day community, we hope you will support St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church.
How will your gift be used? Your generous gift will directly support the Pastor's Discretionary Fund. The Fund plays a crucial role in helping us provide emergency financial assistance to community members seeking help with housing and utility costs. So far in 2025, we have spent over $2,700 to assist almost a dozen people with essential expenses such as gas and power bills, rent and mortgage assistance, and short-term housing costs. Your contribution will help us continue to provide this much-needed support.
Join Us in Making a Difference: By participating in North Texas Giving Day and supporting St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church, you can help to strengthen our community. Let's come together and make a lasting impact! Remember, the giving day is September 18 this year but you can contribute now!
Thank you for your consideration and contribution!
