We are funded by you, our generous donors, and 100% of your gifts stay right here in our community with $.80 of every dollar being spent on animal care, programs, and pet and people services.

The SPCA of Texas serves animals, pets, and families throughout North Texas through animal rescue, animal welfare programs, dog and cat adoption, foster care, low-cost veterinary services, mobile wellness clinics, pet food assistance, community support programs, and animal cruelty investigations.
Our work helps dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and other companion animals receive shelter, medical care, protection from abuse and neglect, and second chances through adoption and foster programs. We also help families keep their beloved pets healthy and at home through affordable veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neuter services, pet resources, and emergency assistance.

Founded in 1938, the SPCA of Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization that operates one shelter, one spay/neuter clinic, one mobile adoptions vehicle, and an animal rescue center, all located in Dallas County, and maintains a team of animal cruelty investigators who rescue hundreds of animals from cruelty each year in North Texas counties. The SPCA of Texas does not euthanize for time or space. Needs
You can help our community’s most vulnerable animals receive the care, love, and support they deserve with every dollar making a life-changing difference.
$50: Give one lucky pup or purr machine a healthy start! Your gift covers a medical exam and vaccinations, setting them up for success as they search for a loving home.
$100: Snip, chip, and a fresh start! This donation provides a spay or neuter surgery plus vaccinations for one animal, helping prevent pet overpopulation and keeping them healthy, happy, and adoption-ready.
$250: When disaster strikes, you help save lives. This gift covers the cost of emergency intake, care, and supplies for one animal rescued during hurricanes, floods, or other emergencies. Because they deserve safety too.
$500: Sometimes keeping pets with the people who love them is the most powerful rescue of all. Your gift provides food, supplies, and help with pet deposits so families don’t have to say goodbye to their best friend.
$1,500: You’ll help 10 fabulous felines hitch a ride to shelters in other states where they’re more likely to be adopted. Turning “homeless” into “home at last.”
$5,000: Be a hero to animals rescued from cruelty. This transformational gift outfits our animal cruelty investigations team with the resources needed to care for one animal. From rescue to recovery to justice.
