SNYP works with low-income, unemployed and disabled individual with needed funding. We strive to help every pet owner that calls or emails SNYP for help. Each pet owner receives a personal call back to discuss the best direction for the help they need and financial assistance if the need is there. We also work to curb feral cat populations throughout the city by lending humane traps as well as fund those surgeries.
SNYP is especially needed during this time to help people who have lost their income and are facing economic crisis are unable to care for their pet.
Our current need is for donations that are directed into our special "Help Fund" which all funds go directly to help animals. This allows us to help pet owners who cannot afford or totally afford their dog or cat's spay/neuter expense a well as some other medical expenses. During this time we are receiving a much larger amount of pleas for assistance and therefore have a stronger need for more funding.
An all-volunteer nonprofit group dedicated to preventing dog and cat overpopulation. We accomplish this working with veterinarians in the DFW Metroplex by funding spay and neuter surgeries pet owners have because of hardship issues.
We have a huge need for cat food, specifically canned but are happy for all donations.
We also need funding for more humane traps as the feral population in our Metroplex continues to grow. Each trap is around $90.
We need Tom Thumb shoppers willing to attach their grocery card to SNYP #1028.
