Needs
$20,000 To Support Trafficking Survivors and The Kindness Closet
Supporting Human Trafficking Survivors:
In collaboration with experienced spirit-led therapists, Bochy's Place is committed to supporting survivors of trafficking and domestic violence. Our survivor-centered approach focuses on physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological support and recovery. The $10,000 funding will be utilized to expand our trauma-informed healing support, legal aide and case management, and transitional support. By empowering survivors with the tools they need to rebuild their lives, we believe we can break the cycle of exploitation and give these survivors a chance for a brighter future.
The Kindness Closet:
The Kindness Closet is a clothing and food closet for students in low-income schools who are most at risk for being trafficked. The majority of these students live on prostitution streets, in homeless shelters, in Budget Inns, or on the streets. These students desperately need food, clothing, and often extra mental and emotional support and encouragement. With your help, we will be providing food, clothing, and preventative trafficking education to these children. The additional $10,000 will be used to provide this for these students.
Our $20,000 funding campaign aims to establish consistent restocking of the food and clothing for The Kindness Closet, in addition to supporting the expansion of The Kindness Closet into the next one to two schools asking for this program.
