$10,000 Goal

We are a group of Veterans and First Responders that have a desire to alleviate the suffering of the homeless.  Our primary emphasize is on homeless veterans, disabled veterans, and their families.  However, we have never turned anyone away and currently serve hundreds of the local homeless in north Texas.  We like to mentor and train, cook and serve food, and just be there when the time is needed.

One of the things that makes us different from other nonprofits is that we have no paid staff.  Everyone is a volunteer from the President, the Board of Directors, to the Boots on the Ground Outreach Team.  Every dime that is donated goes back out to the local communities in support of the homeless.  This is something that we are very proud of and allows us to serve and outreach to a larger population.

Mission

Our Mission

We are a 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit organization aimed at providing humanitarian services, assistance, and training to homeless and disabled veterans and their families.

Our Goals

Our goal is to assist these individuals with acquiring emergency shelter and food, access to specialized health care and mainstream services, obtaining specialized training for future employment, and equip them to be self-sufficient and regain their confidence within society.

Time to Act

Our desire is to bring hope back to the homeless. By partnering with like-minded organizations, we can end veteran homelessness. We don't accept that homelessness is something that cannot be solved. Help us give them a safe place, a clean bed, and a warm meal.

Needs

Our largest need is a warehouse in north Texas where we can set up our operations. Currently we operate out of garages and local homeless centers in our areas.

One of our biggest goals is Operation Warm-Up where we provide sleeping bags and inclement weather items to the areas homeless. Donations are always needed as well as monetary support.

Equity Statement

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is part of our DNA. We continue to build a culture that celebrates, supports, and encourages the voices of our volunteers, staff, and the veterans and homeless that we serve.
