Song Dog Watch is a North Texas nonprofit dedicated to protecting wild carnivores, especially coyotes, through community education, ethical wildlife rescue and compassionate coexistence.
Founded by wildlife conservation photographers Karin and Roberto Saucedo, we bring together hands-on wildlife care and grassroots education to build understanding and reduce conflict with some of Texas’ most misunderstood native species.. From responding to calls about displaced coyote pups to hosting community coexistence workshops, our work is grounded in science, empathy and respect for both wildlife and people.
We’re uniquely focused on the challenges that urban and suburban carnivores face, including habitat fragmentation, rodenticide poisoning, and human conflict. By addressing these issues through education, outreach, and direct care, we create lasting change that benefits whole ecosystems.
