We are a group of volunteers where our chapter needs include financial support, volunteers, and bedding donations.
Financial donations such as those coming from North Texas Giving Day help us to purchase the lumber, hardware, mattresses, bedding, and tools we need to build and deliver beds to children in need.
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help build and deliver beds. Just a few hours of your time you can make a direct, permanent impact in the lives of children in your community. Each bed we deliver to a child comes complete with a brand-new twin-sized mattress, sheet set, comforter or quilt, and pillow. We welcome bedding donations and are looking for corporations, churches, schools, service organizations, and individuals that would like to host a bedding drive for us. We have wish lists on Walmart, Target, and Amazon to help you pick out the types of bedding that kids are requesting the most!
At Sleep in Heavenly Peace Dallas/Fort Worth our mission is to provide a bed to children in our community, regardless of race, gender, religion, or social background. We believe all children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads.
