Skateparks for Dallas began in 2017, as a project of Dr. Clinton Haley, a long time Dallas resident. Clinton noticed, spurred by his young son's interest in skateboarding, that there were no concrete skateparks in the city of Dallas, while all of our suburban neighbors, Frisco, Plan, Lewisville, Arlington, etc. had invested in amazing facilities that were amongst the most popular parks & recs amenities in the entire city.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Clinton, worked with Dallas City Council and Dallas Parks & Recreation was able to have a flagship skatepark added to the 2017 Bond Election, and skateparks for Dallas was up and running. Visit SkateparksforDallas.org or instagram @skateparksfordallas for more info.
