About Us


The Shotwell Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a single

purpose: To provide scholarships for graduates or GED

certificate holders from Northeast Tarrant County high schools.

These funds will open doors to receive skills/trades degrees or

certifications that will prepare them to enter promising careers.

Our Mission

To empower students from Birdville, Grapevine-Colleyville,

and Hurst-Euless Bedford school districts by providing

scholarships for professional technical certifications and

associate degrees at Tarrant County College and other

approved accredited programs, opening doors to promising

careers, balanced lives, and financial security.
