Since 1921 The Salvation Army has served Grayson County residents with critical needs. Emergency shelter, social services, food, clothing, veteran services, Christmas programs, worship services, youth activities, disaster services and other programs are available to the community.

Our Needs

Goods and services currently needed are: program operating funds, food products for pantry, shelter renovations, fork lift and pick-up truck.

Mission

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Needs

New linens for our single male housing focused shelter such as: twin size sheet sets, pillows, bath towels, and wash rags.

Hygiene products such as: shampoo, body soap, deodorant, razors, and shaving cream.

Grocery bags for our food pantry, both plastic and paper.

Non-perishable food items for our shelter meals, youth program nights, and food pantry clients.
