SALOOD is a Dallas nonprofit organization that brings young cancer warriors and businesses together to create customized products sold to directly benefit families affected by pediatric cancer. SALOOD empowers an "Ambassador", a selected warrior between the ages of 10-17 with pediatric cancer (and/or in remission), with the role of creative designer to collaborate with a business to create a compelling fundraising product. An osteosarcoma survivor partners with a handbag company to design a beautiful custom purse, a young leukemia hero joins forces with a jewelry brand to create the perfect go-to 14k gold necklace, and a young chef in treatment works with a bakery to deliciously reimagine their signature cookie-with proceeds from product sales used to provide direct financial relief to families with unforeseen pediatric cancer expenses. Through our financial aid program we've been able to support 100+ (and counting) pediatric cancer families in North Texas with financial aid and are looking to expand our program beyond the DFW in 2023.

We need capital to support our financial aid fund and ambassador program. With the money raised we're able to reach dozens of cancer families in need of financial aid and expand our services beyond the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. It also gives us the opportunity to amplify our ambassador program by hosting launch events, bring on full time staff members, and hire external vendors to support our mission.
