We're here to make a difference. We're here to protect everyone, especially those most vulnerable, from assault, while walking or running or hiking on trails and in public parks. SAFE+Happy Trails was founded because a woman was attacked on a public trail and because she wanted to be sure no one ever had to face what she did.
Our Mission:
We are a nonprofit founded to protect you and every person on public trails, providing safety, so you can walk and run and hike for FUN and NOT in fear. To drastically reduce the statistics of attacks on those walking, running, hiking, even biking, every year. Even one attack is one too many.
Fundraising and sponsorship for production and installation of emergency poles. Organizations or persons who donate amount to cover cost of entire pole may choose to have their organization or name or donation posted on the pole.
