Safe Haven Cat Sanctuary (SHCS) is a 501c3 approved non-profit organization committed to the humane and compassionate treatment of feral cats.
It is our mission to provide for the socialization, vetting, and adoption of feral cats and kittens for placement in permanent homes. We are dedicated to the care and well-being of these homeless cats and kittens and seek to educate the public on the need to spay/neuter pets, the prevention of animal cruelty, responsible pet ownership, and actively encouraging TNR in our community.
SHCS rescues feral cats and kittens adults. We have a private network of volunteers that are experienced and dedicated to providing the necessary environment to ensure the kittens are properly socialized and ready for adoption.
We also operate a Sanctuary for feral cats. The Sanctuary is a 1,500sf secure enclosure that currently houses twelve feral and semi-feral cats that receive perpetual care. The cats are provided with a safe environment for lounging, eating and sleeping and they have access to a 300sf heated/air-conditioned space when the outside temperatures are not conducive to healthy living.
