The Southern University Alumni Federation - Dallas Chapter consistently engages in activities to raise funds to provide educational scholarships to North Texas students attending Southern University. This has been a major initiative of the chapter since it's inception.
We aim to raise $50,000 for educational scholarships and other financial needs for our North Texas Students attending Southern University.
The Southern University Alumni Federation - Dallas Chapter was established on April 10, 1955. The Southern University Alumni Federation - Dallas Chapter focuses on effective communication with the National Southern University Alumni Federation, the Southern University System Board of Supervisors, and all Southern University System campus administrators, faculty, and students. The Southern University Alumni Federation - Dallas Chapter develops action plans for student recruitment, engages in fundraising to provide educational scholarships, focuses on increasing local chapter membership, and seeks to increase public knowledge about the Southern University System.
