Our Needs
Our goal for this year’s North Texas Giving Day campaign is $5,000, and every dollar raised will directly support the animals who come through the doors of Rockwall Adoption Center. These funds help cover essential veterinary care, including vaccinations, heartworm prevention and testing, spay and neuter surgeries, microchips, antibiotics for respiratory and skin infections, antifungal medications for ringworm, treatment for mange, and other medical care needed by abandoned, injured, neglected, or mistreated animals. This year alone, several pets have required emergency treatment for serious conditions, including parvovirus, broken bones, amputations, and other critical medical needs. Without donations and fundraising campaigns like North Texas Giving Day, many of these animals would not have had access to the lifesaving treatment they needed. At Rockwall Adoption Center, our team is committed to helping animals who are lost, abandoned, surrendered, or unwanted. We work to provide the medical care, rehabilitation, and support they need so they can heal and move on to loving forever homes. Your donation can help us reach our $5,000 goal and be ready for the next animal who needs us.
Mission
It is the mission of the Rockwall Adoption Center to work with our community to strengthen the bond between animals and people, enhancing the quality of their lives through compassionate sheltering, responsible adoptions, education, and community outreach.
Needs
At Rockwall Adoption Center, there is always a need for quality food and everyday supplies to help us care for the animals in our shelter. Suggested food brands include Nutro for dogs and puppies, and Kirkland, Wellness, Purina Beyond, or IAMS for cats and kittens. We also go through cleaning supplies quickly, so donations of bleach, Pine-Sol, Fabuloso, laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags, and Clorox wipes are always appreciated. Other frequently needed items include towels, blankets, dog and cat beds, litter pans, cat litter, toys, and treats. Every donated item helps us stretch our resources further and provide a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped environment for the animals in our care.
