Rivertree Academy provides access to an excellent private, Christian education that considers our students’ unique circumstances. We serve families in the Lake Como community of Fort Worth. We approach education with a focus on the whole child, addressing spiritual, academic, and social-emotional needs, as well as building relationships with our students. Currently, in our tenth year of school, we serve 111 students in pre-K3 through 5th grade. All funds raised will support educating our children and equipping them with tools that can change the trajectory of their lives. This includes curriculum and instruction that focuses on addressing educational gaps, two meals a day, a full set of uniforms for the year, access to trauma-informed services, an after-school program that combines academic and extracurricular enrichment opportunities, daily transportation services from school, and field-trips that bring in class learning to life. By exposing our students to a holistic educational model rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our hope is they will become invested community citizens who possess good habits for life.
Our Needs
Each year, generous community partners make it possible for Rivertree students to access a life-changing education. Without this support, many families in Como would not have the opportunity to provide their children with the resources and care they deserve. This year, we are seeking support for our After-School Program—a vital extension of the school day that provides tutoring, homework help, transportation, enrichment activities, a healthy snack, and most importantly, a safe and nurturing place for students to spend their afternoons. Your gift to Rivertree Academy’s North Texas Giving Day campaign will help keep this program accessible and give our students the tools to thrive academically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of The Fallen Family Fund, every dollar given this year will be matched up to $10,000! That means your support will have DOUBLE the impact, helping us sustain and strengthen the After-School Program that so many of our students and families rely on.
