About The Richardson ISD Foundation

For more than 40 years, The Richardson ISD Foundation has partnered with our community to invest in the success of RISD students and educators. Founded in 1984, we’re proud to be the third oldest education foundation in Texas. Thanks to the generous support of individuals, local businesses, and community organizations, we’ve raised more than $8.7 million to support the nearly 37,000 students and 5,700 staff across the district.

Mission

Investing where it matters most, we accelerate student achievement and fuel educator innovation to create lasting opportunity across Richardson ISD.

Needs

Every child deserves the chance to dream big, discover their strengths, and be prepared for what’s ahead. Your gift makes that possible by funding what goes beyond the basics:

- BOLD IDEAS that bring learning to life

- FREE AFTERSCHOOL ENRICHMENT for students in underserved communities

- REAL-WORLD SKILLS that prepare teens for the workforce

- SCHOLARSHIPS that open doors after graduation

- PROFESSIONAL GROWTH that strengthens the teachers and staff who shape young lives

Together, we can say “yes” to more students, more innovation, and more opportunity—strengthening Richardson ISD and our entire community.

Will you help us fund the extraordinary?

Equity Statement
