The Richardson ISD Foundation benefits the Richardson Independent School District's students, teachers, and families. The Richardson School District is committed to providing the best education for ALL children. The RISD serves nearly 40,000 students who live in Richardson, Dallas, and Garland. It is very diverse economically, racially, and culturally and this diversity is one of our strengths. We advocate for public education and raise funds through grants, individual donations, and corporate sponsorships. We fund student scholarships, professional development grants for teachers, grants for programs to meet special needs, grants for student experiences, and program supplies. This support provides opportunities so that all students can grow, learn and succeed.
