Angel Bear Project—RTC’s Community Outreach Program
The Angel Bear Project is RTC’s community outreach program focused on health, wellness,and wellbeing.Angel Bear is more then a comfort item -it is a practical tool that opens doors,builds trust,and offers compassion when words are not enough.
For a child in crisis, a patient undergoing treatment, someone navigating recovery, or a family stretch beyond their limits, sometimes what they need most is something tangible to hold onto-something that quietly says you are not alone.
Through partnerships with schools, recovery programs, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.Angel Bear Project provides hygiene and wellness kits to children, individuals living with chronic illness, people in recovery, family in crisis and others navigating challenging seasons of life.
Each kit includes essential health and wellness items paired with an Angel Bear,meeting both practical and emotional needs.
We believe true care addresses the whole person. While hygiene items provide immediate support, the Angel Bear offers, comfort, encouragement, and hope.Together, they create a meaningful expression of compassion that reminds recipients they are valued.
Our message is to love God .Our mission is to tell those who God loves. Our mandate is to go to the whom God loves.
RTC carries this calling at the heart level and Angel Bear Project expresses this calling through outreach that strengthens health, wellness, and nutrition for students, seniors, cancer patients and individuals impacted by addiction.
Our goal is to raise $5000 to provide 200 Angel Bear Kits. Each Angel Bear kit is built around our signature Angel Bear— a white, plush bear with angel wings— paired with essential hygiene items. Each kit cost $25 and includes toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo ,soap, wipes, deodorant and an Angel Bear.
These kits are distributed through local schools, healthcare facilities, and community partners to support children and individuals in crisis.
