Path the way to a bright and new innovative future for the Red Oak Public Library
The Red Oak Friends of the Library (ROFL) is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-driven organization that promotes the Red Oak Public Library as an educational, cultural and recreational asset to the City of Red Oak and its surrounding communities. The ROFL raises funds for the Library and administers funds distribution. The Friends encourage use of the Library's resources and services and organize citizens in supporting the Red Oak Public Library.
ROFL assists the Library both through innovative service and fundraising including neighborhood outreach, refreshments for the monthly book review and more. You can make a difference in the Red Oak community and support the Friends with a donation or gift.
In the Spring of 2023 the library moved from a 950sq library to a new library with over 6,000 square feet. Since expanding into the new space the library has been able to present hundreds of new programs for all ages. In addition the library has added many innovative materials, such as Wonderbooks, audiobook/read along Picture books, literacy kits, as well as new services to the electronic materials.
Thanks to the past contributions to the Friends group, they have furnished the entire Preschool section of the new space.
With your help the Friends want to expand even more new services and furniture to help the patron of the Red Oak Public Library.
Your donation to the ROFL will fund growth and innovation in all areas of the library. Including a future Makerspace area.
Make a difference and support the Red Oak community. Donate to the ROFL, help innovate the Children's Reading Corner and become a part of a major fundraising campaign this Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.
The Friends of the Red Oak Public Library support core library values including diversity, equity, justice and fair access to resources.
