We try to make a difference in the lives of the animals as well as the humans who.open their hearts and homes to these animals.
RLAR continues to work on bigger changes for the future to help animals. We have our program "goldens for goldens" where we place seniors dogs in nursing homes with senior humans, and continue to provide all of their financial care. We are hoping to expand this program and continue to help senior animals and humans live a good life enjoying each other. But, we cannot continue this program as well as helping other animals in need without your help.
RLAR helps cats, dogs and exotic birds who have lost their homes through no fault of their own. We focus on seniors and those in need of medical care, including hospice babies, but also help people in the community who have to give up their beloved animals because of circumstances.
RLAR always accepts monetary donations in any amount so we can continue to help animals in need. We can always use cat, dog and bird food to feed the animals in foster care.
RLAR operates on a cash basis.
