Mission

Our mission is to raise autism awareness through volunteering and events, fostering a more inclusive and accepting society. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to provide education, resources, and support to individuals with autism and their families, while promoting empathy, understanding, and inclusion in all aspects of life

Needs

πŸ’™ Our Needs

At RAAVE DFW, we are committed to creating inclusive, meaningful opportunities for children of all abilities β€” in the community, through friendship, and with purpose.

We provide Circle of Friends Social Skills Meetups at fun, kid friendly community places like Chuck E. Cheese, Crayola Experience, Peppa Pig World, movie theatres, local libraries etc. These events help children build confidence, develop social skills, and enjoy positive peer interactions in everyday environments.

Our inclusive programs also include:

All-abilities seasonal camps

Behavioral support during sports and recreation (like 1:1 basketball skill sessions and adaptive yoga)

Community service projects where kids come together to prepare meals for the homeless and give back to others

Community policing activities, creating safe and positive connections between youth, families, and local officers

We rely on a trained team of behavioral technicians, volunteers, and support staff who ensure each child receives individualized guidance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.

🎯 Our goal is to continue offering these services at little to no cost to families β€” while expanding access to more children across North Texas.

Your support helps cover:

Entry fees for meetups and camps

Sensory tools, supplies, and activity materials

Staff wages and volunteer training

Transportation, insurance, and program costs

Materials for service and community events

Every dollar helps us foster a more inclusive, connected, and empowered future β€” one child, one friendship, one community at a time.

We are committed to promoting equity, inclusion, and equal opportunities by ensuring that every individual, regardless of ability ,is fully included in their community and has access to the resources, support and respect they deserve.
