The Dallas Alumni Chapter of Prairie View A&M University has been a vital part of the Panther legacy since its founding in the 1970s. Rooted in the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth community, our chapter brings together alumni who are committed to preserving the rich history, excellence, and impact of Prairie View A&M University.

Guided by our mission to “Promote, Support, and Provide Service,” we focus on initiatives that uplift students, support the university, and strengthen alumni connections. Through fundraising, mentoring, community service, and fellowship, we carry forward a proud tradition of leadership and advocacy.

With over $900,000 raised for scholarships through events like our Annual Scholarship Gala and Clever Dean Lewis Memorial Fund, we continue to empower future generations of Panthers with the tools they need to succeed. Our members are educators, entrepreneurs, public servants, and professionals—each united by a shared commitment to giving back.

Whether you're a graduate, a supporter, or a friend of Prairie View A&M University, we invite you to connect with us and be part of a legacy that spans decades and shapes futures.

Equity Statement

The Dallas Alumni Chapter of Prairie View A&M University is deeply committed to fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and opportunity. As proud stewards of a historically Black university’s legacy, we recognize the transformative power of education and the importance of ensuring that every student—regardless of background, identity, or circumstance—has the support and resources needed to succeed.

We believe equity means more than equal access; it means actively addressing barriers, uplifting underrepresented voices, and investing in students and communities who have been historically marginalized. Through our scholarships, events, and service, we strive to create pathways that reflect the rich diversity and excellence of Prairie View A&M University.

In all we do, we honor our past, embrace the present, and build an inclusive future where every Panther can thrive.
