W.T. White High School is a public Dallas ISD school with over 2,000 students, from diverse backgrounds, that strives for high academic excellence and offers a well-rounded high school experience. The school offers a variety of career endorsements, advanced placement courses, honors courses, dual credit courses, and the Collegiate Academy, also known as B-TECH, within its comprehensive educational programs. In addition, WTW provides extracurricular activities and clubs such as Academic Decathlon, Art Club, Business Professionals of America, Caballeras Drill Team, Chess Club and many more that encourage and serve our student body.
The school is located in North Dallas about 1 mile southwest of I-635 and the Dallas North Tollway. However, part of WTW zoning includes students who live in Addison, Carrollton, and Farmers Branch. Unlike some of our neighboring campuses, both private and public, WTW lacks the depth of parent and alumni involvement and financial support that would ensure teachers, students, and extracurricular organizations have everything they need to be successful.
W.T. White High School’s athletic facilities were updated in the 2022-2023 school year, and the coaching staff ensured that our student athletes received the best training and mentoring to accompany those physical improvements. Furthermore, we are looking forward to more facility updates, by the district, within the classrooms and common areas in the 2023-2024 school year.
However, there will be additional needs that the bond funding cannot meet, so the WTW PTSA is requesting the support of our student families, alumni, and Dallas community to provide additional funding/resources for our well-deserving student body.
