Big Springs Elementary PTA is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting and enhancing the education, opportunities and welfare of our students by facilitating engagement and cooperation amongst parents, teachers, and the community. We raise funds for curriculum materials and opportunities for students and staff, organize events to promote community involvement, and help promote a healthy, positive, and inclusive culture.
The Big Springs Elementary PTA is raising funds to support our 400+ students and 80+ staff members at our school.
Throughout the year our four largest budget items are:
1. Student Aide – covering field trip costs, lunch funds, school supplies, and clothing needs
2. Teacher Wishlists – providing classroom supplies that enhance and enrich learning
3. Student Enrichment – organizing fun-filled celebrations for our families throughout the year.
4. Teacher & Staff Appreciation – offering meals and treats to thank our incredible teachers for all they do.
The Big Springs PTA represents parents, caregivers, educators and communities of all students, allowing us to achieve PTA’s mission to make every child’s potential a reality. Our collective backgrounds, perspectives and ideas allow us to create an environment that helps to support all students and staff in our wonderful BSE community.
