Provision Promise (provisionpromise.org) is a dignity-first nonprofit focused on addressing hygiene insecurity in North Texas and the US.
Hygiene poverty stands at the intersection of education, employment, physical health, and mental health - yet it is a hidden crisis in the USA. Most people do not realize that food stamps (SNAP) do not cover basics like soap, shampoo, deodorant, or laundry detergent - and because those are non-perishable items, they are rarely donated.
Children are bullied, college students skip classes, and adults skip interviews, and struggle with confidence to go to work and social events. Yet no one is talking about this issue on a national scale. We want to change that.
"Having hygiene products gives me motivation to go to class and removes the fear of embarrassment. I can actually learn instead of wondering what everyone is thinking of me."
- Amarillo College Student, recipient of one of our vouchers for hygiene items
We’ve created a tech-enabled model for product distribution that provides dignity and the power of choice. This also eliminates the need for a dedicated supply chain system and countless volunteers, and enables the ability to scale quickly and efficiently. More than 1,500 organizations have already reached out to request hygiene products with little marketing, indicating that this is the tip of the iceberg in terms of need.
As of July 7, 2026, we have received requests from 61 different organizations in North Texas that need our help - and about 1,600 organizations across the US. Here's some of what they had to say:
I am the Parent Support Specialist/ Partnership Coordinator for my campus. My campus is an "all-boys middle school, Title 1. We are need of basic hygiene items for our boys.
We distribute these products when clients have need, and they have a LOT of need.
- Case Manager, Nexus Recovery Center, Dallas
We are a small food pantry. We serve 80 to 100 families a week, and many ask for hygiene items.
- Director, Hope in Hand Food Pantry, Rowlett
I serve a caseload of 82 families. I'll take all the help I can get.
- Program Manager, Communities in Schools, Fort Worth

Provision Promise's mission is to provide individuals and families with access to essential hygiene products so they can attend school, hold jobs, and emerge from poverty. Our model is dignity-first, offering choice while enabling rapid scale through technology rather than traditional supply chain models.
We are proud to be minority-led and founded, and serve a diverse population.
Provision Promise is dedicated to supporting the North Texas Community. Your Giving Day donations will directly impact the following groups in the North Texas area:
Low-income families: Struggling to afford basic hygiene items alongside food and rent, often forced to cut back on food or go without soap, detergent, and diapers
K-12 students: Kids facing bullying and social stigma from poor hygiene, plus chronic absenteeism tied to not having clean clothes
College students: Young adults skipping class out of embarrassment when they lack access to basic hygiene products
Working adults: People at risk of missed interviews, workplace discipline, or job loss due to hygiene-related barriers
Nonprofits and community organizations: Food banks, pantries, schools, and shelters that see the need firsthand but can't stock non-perishable hygiene items through normal donation channels
