Disciple Central Community Church (DC3), led by Senior Pastor Marcus D. King, is a faith-driven ministry committed to transforming lives, strengthening families, and building communities. Rooted in DeSoto, Texas, DC3 has become a recognized leader in local, national, and global impact—where worship meets action and faith is lived out through tangible service.

As part of this mission, DC3 established the Prosperity Business & Community Development Center (Prosperity BCDC) to meet the practical needs of families in our community. Prosperity BCDC is dedicated to:

  1. Adult Education & Training – offering GED, continuing education, and workforce readiness programs to equip adults with skills for career advancement or transition.

  2. Economic & Workforce Development – empowering individuals to achieve economic stability and promoting growth within DeSoto and the Greater Southwest region.

  3. FED UP (Families Eating Daily Undermining Poverty) Family & Community Outreach – providing food assistance, housing support, and emergency services to ensure no family goes without basic needs.

Since its beginning in 2009 as a food outreach ministry and its merger with Prosperity BCDC in 2015, FED UP has expanded into a holistic initiative. Families are paired with case managers who create 90-day action plans that include financial counseling, access to housing and food resources, and pathways to long-term stability.

Through DC3 and Prosperity BCDC, we are filling critical gaps in our community, meeting immediate needs while creating opportunities for education, employment, and self-sufficiency. Together, we are transforming lives—not just for today, but for generations to come.

Help Us Build Prosperity Village – Affordable Senior Living for DeSoto!

Too many of our seniors face the burden of high housing costs, limited care options, and the fear of being forgotten. Prosperity Village will be a place of dignity, safety, and love—where seniors can thrive in a supportive environment right here in our community.

At Disciple Central Community Church, we believe that faith must be lived out through action. That’s why Prosperity Village is the first major project of our Forever Forward vision—a bold, faith-led movement to transform our city. Forever Forward isn’t just a plan; it’s a commitment to build affordable housing, create opportunities, and invest in the next generation.

This North Texas Giving Day, we are asking you to partner with us to raise $150,000 toward Prosperity Village. Your generosity will help lay the foundation for a project that will impact lives for generations, providing housing and hope for those who have paved the way for us.

And Prosperity Village is just the beginning. Forever Forward is our 5-Year Strategic Plan to ignite economic and social transformation in DeSoto and beyond. Together, we will:

  • Empower youth and strengthen families

  • Expand homeownership and develop businesses

  • Activate leadership and build stronger communities

We see the need. We hear the call. And we’re not waiting on change—we’re creating it. By 2030, our goal is simple but significant: to make DC3 a model of what’s possible when faith leads the way.

Because we don’t go back. We go Forever Forward.
