Prospera delivers soap and hand hygiene education to vulnerable populations. We have spent three years researching, developing, and delivering a handwashing education program based on CDC-certified practices to reduce the spread of communicable diseases. Our program, Bright Hands, Bright Futures, has been offered (in English and Spanish) as 'Bubble Day.' A colorful interactive presentation at schools and communities with in-person Hygiene Educators delivering lessons, skits, and games to increase understanding of germ spread while creating better handwashing habits. Soap supplies are always provided for continued use in the home.
In February of 2024, we will be offering a mass training of 75 teachers to experience Bright Hands, Bright Futures, and professional training to replicate the lecture in their classrooms with all necessary materials and soap supplies.
-$10,000 for teacher/classroom education kits and training event costs.
-Board Members with experience in Public Health, Health Education, and Early Childhood Development.
Utilize Soap Recycling to develop and support sustainable projects that promote health education, family stability, community development and better healthcare access.
